I have been to this field and the strawberries are wonderful! I recommend ordering the 10 pounds of blueberries to be received in July. They were so huge and sweet!

Welcome!
This blog is created for the families in Springmill Crossing neighborhood. Many of us are stay home parents with a long summer ahead. I hope this blog will be a great way for us to stay connected and keep the kids entertained all summer long! There are three things I hope to accomplish with this blog:
1. Set up a playdate schedule of parks for us to meet at all summer long. Gives the kids something different to look forward too and gives all of our yards and swingsets a break.
2. Remind everyone of activites going on in the community that would be great for kids.
3. Establish some sort of calendar that will let us know who is parenting alone during the week. Many of our spouses travel for work and that dinner time hour is tough. Why not throw the whole pack of hot dogs in the boiling water and get together with someone else whose spouse is out of town?
Just to let you know, this is going to be really casual with no flashing lights or scrolling banners. I'm not a web designer (if any of you who have web design expertise, please let me know!) and I'm mostly happy if everything is spelled correctly and I remember puncutation.
I do not intend to block this blog from any user. This means that some old joe schmoe could read it so I will keep it pretty annonomous with only using first names of kids or adults. Some things are difficult to make transparent (like saying "Touch a Truck at Carmel High School"). I will do my best.
I am also encouraging help from all of you! My email is jennitaller@att.net I would love if you could email me suggestions. If anyone wants to become an co-author to this blog, I would be happy to set it up for you!
I have emailed this blog address to people I know in the neighborhood. If you have a neighbor not on this list who may be interested, please share this site with them! All are welcome!
